As of the current canon, there are at least 5 known timelines in Dragon Ball, including the main timeline, Future Trunks' timeline, Cell's original timeline, an unseen timeline, and the timeline created by Whis' time travel.
If you want an exact number, it's complicated! Dragon Ball's time travel shenanigans have created at least five different timelines, but there could be more lurking out there.
