Just twice! Basic to Stage 1, then Stage 1 to Stage 2. Any more than that, and you're probably playing a different game!

In Pokemon TCG, you can evolve a Pokemon basically twice. You start with your Basic Pokemon, then evolve it to a Stage 1 Pokemon, and finally to a Stage 2 Pokemon. So, if you're looking at the evolution chain from the very beginning, it's like going from a cute little Charmander to a fierce Charizard!

Actually, there's a bit more to consider. While you normally can only evolve up to Stage 2, don鈥檛 forget about special cards like EX or GX that don鈥檛 follow the usual evolution path. So, while the basic 'twice' rule applies, the world of Pokemon TCG is filled with exceptions.

Two times. That's it. Keep it simple.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
