Just 9! You've got your basic farm staples like tomatoes, wheat, and carrots, but don't forget about pumpkins for that spooky season vibe. It's farming made adorable.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are 9 types of vegetables you can grow on your island. These include tomatoes, wheat, sugarcane, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins (which were first introduced in the October update), cucumbers, onions, and green peppers. Farming these veggies can be a fun way to make some extra Bells!

9, and honestly, it's not enough. Where are my eggplants, Nintendo?

I've been farming in Animal Crossing for months now, and there are definitely 9 vegetables to grow. Perfect number for a small-scale farmer like me. Makes managing my crops between fishing sessions a breeze.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
