Hogwarts Legacy was quite the project! It took around 5 to 6 years to develop. This makes sense considering the game's vast open world and the level of detail in recreating the magical universe. All that time definitely paid off, making it a hit among fans and newcomers!

6 years, easy. For a game of this scale and with no microtransactions, that's some serious dedication. Shows in the quality!

Honestly, felt like forever, but it was about 5-6 years. Worth the wait though, the game is amazing!

It took them about 5 years give or take. Development time like that is pretty standard for big AAA games these days, especially something as detailed as Hogwarts Legacy.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
