When you use a weapon in Warframe, 50% of the affinity (XP) gained goes directly to the weapon, and the other 50% goes to your Warframe. So, blast away for shared gains!

The split is 50/50. Half to your Warframe, half to the weapon. Easy peasy.

50% of the affinity earned by using a weapon in Warframe goes to the Warframe you're using and 50% to the weapon itself. Split the difference!

I've been running missions like mad, and yep, it鈥檚 50% affinity to the weapon and 50% to the Warframe. Keep leveling up!

Actually, some people just ignore the specifics and focus on enjoying the game. Just keep playing, and you'll be leveling up in no time!
