It totally depends on the card and its condition! Common cards might be a couple of bucks, but something like a 1st Edition Charizard in mint condition? You're talking thousands, even over $200,000 for perfect grades. Always check the current market and get a grading to be sure.

I sold a 1st Edition Shadowless Venusaur last year for a hefty sum. It was in near-mint condition and got a great grade. The market's always changing, but good condition rare cards from Gen 1 can fetch a pretty penny.

Honestly, most aren't worth much unless they're super rare or in amazing condition. Don't get too excited if you find an old Pikachu card.
