It totally depends on the condition and rarity of the cards from the first collection. Mint condition, first edition cards can fetch thousands of dollars, especially iconic ones like Charizard. If you've got a first edition, holographic Charizard, you could be looking at more than $300,000 for a card in pristine condition! For less rare cards, you might get a few dollars to a few hundred bucks.

Not all first collection Pokemon cards are going to make you rich. Most common cards might only get you enough for a cup of coffee. But, if you hit the jackpot with a rare, holographic card in mint condition, you're talking big bucks. It's all about rarity and condition.

Honestly, unless you've got one of those ultra-rare, holographic first editions in perfect condition, don't quit your day job. The average card isn't worth a fortune, but it's still cool to have!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
