Online gameplay data usage varies but is usually around 50MB to 250MB per hour. Downloading updates? Bring a snack; it’s gigabytes!

For online gaming, PlayStation typically uses between 40MB to 300MB per hour, depending on the game. Streaming and downloading updates can consume much more data though!

From my experience, games like Fortnite and Call of Duty use around 100MB per hour. Streaming Netflix or downloading games, however, can gobble up gigabytes quickly.

Honestly, it depends on the game. But you can expect to use about 50MB to 300MB per hour for online play. Your mileage may vary!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
