How Much Data Does WhatsApp Take?
GroaningRush·2 months agoWhatsApp doesn't use much data at all! For text messages, it's minimal—like, a few kilobytes per message. Voice calls use about 300KB per minute, while video calls use around 3MB per minute. Just make sure to watch out for media-heavy chats!

WhatsApp data usage really depends on what you're doing. Texting is super light; voice calls use moderate data, and video calls can use more. Just keep an eye on your media downloads!
Text? Almost nothing. Voice calls? About 0.36MB/min. Video calls? 5MB/min. It's all relative, folks.
Honestly, WhatsApp doesn't hog data unless you're on constant video calls or sending tons of photos and videos.
In my experience, WhatsApp uses very little data for texts but more for voice and video calls. I can chat all month without hitting my data cap, but those long video calls? Different story!
