I heard it was around $40M, but that's just a rumor. With all the characters, maps, and the slick gameplay, it makes sense it wasn't cheap.

Nobody outside of Respawn Entertainment and EA has the exact figure, but given the scale, graphics, and continuous updates Apex Legends has, it's safe to say the development cost was easily in the tens of millions of dollars. Considering the quality and ongoing support, it wouldn't be surprising if initial development costs were somewhere between $30-$60 million, not counting marketing and continuous updates.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
