Exact figures on the development cost of Hogwarts Legacy aren't publicly disclosed, but considering it's a high-quality, open-world RPG from a major studio and publisher, it's safe to say the budget was likely in the tens of millions of dollars. Developing a game of this scale, with detailed graphics and vast open-world environments, typically requires a significant investment in both manpower and technology.

They keep those numbers under wraps, but given the detail and depth of Hogwarts Legacy, we're probably talking big money. AAA games can hit up to hundreds of millions, so Hogwarts was likely no cheap feat!

If I had to guess, A LOT. Making video games isn't like brewing a simple potion, especially one as massive and immersive as Hogwarts Legacy.
