TBH, the exact cost to develop Apex Legends has been kept on the DL, but considering it's a big title from Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, you can bet it wasn't cheap. High-quality graphics, ongoing server costs, a constantly updating roster of Legends, and marketing surely ran into the tens of millions at least.

No official numbers, but big games like Apex usually cost a LOT. Think about the salaries for the team, the tech needed to run it smoothly on various platforms, and all the updates and bug fixes post-launch. Definitely not pocket change.

I heard from a buddy who works in gaming that these types of games can easily cost upwards of $100 million to make, considering all the development, marketing, and launch expenses. Apex being a top-tier game, it's likely in that ballpark.

Actually, cost is kinda irrelevant. What matters is it's free to play and they keep it fresh with updates. Who cares about the initial cost?

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
