GTA V, an absolute beast in game development, was no small investment. Rockstar North threw down a cool $137 million on development alone. But when you toss in marketing and additional expenses, the total cash outflow hit around $265 million. That's a lot of in-game dollars!

$265 million - Not cheap, but considering it broke industry sales records, I'd say worth every penny.

Just to add, the $265 million rumored for GTA V makes it one of the most expensive video games ever developed. It's like they say, you gotta spend money to make money (and GTA V made a LOT back).

Honestly, with GTA V's insane graphics, massive open world, and detailed storyline, I'm not surprised it cost $265 million to make. You can see where every cent went.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
