It's a mystery, but given Valorant's quality and Riot's reputation, the budget was probably HUGE.

I'd bet my last dollar it's more than most of us will earn in a lifetime. Game development, especially at the level Riot Games operates, involves a massive team of developers, artists, marketers, and more. It's not just the development costs; the marketing campaign for Valorant was everywhere before launch.

Nobody outside Riot Games really knows the exact number, but making a game like Valorant definitely didn't come cheap. Considering the high-quality graphics, server infrastructure, and the marketing blitz they did, we're likely looking at tens of millions of dollars. Plus, Riot Games put a lot of effort into getting influencers to play the game, which adds to the cost.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
