In Animal Crossing, apples sell for 100 Bells each if you're selling them in your own town. If you take them to a friend's town where apples aren't the native fruit, you can sell them for 500 Bells each! So, grab those apples and start making some Bells!
Just 100 Bells in your town, but pro tip: always sell non-native fruits in another town for that sweet 500 Bells per apple!
