It varies! If you’re just starting to know someone, expect to pay more Stardust compared to trading with a best buddy. Legendary or shiny Pokemon usually cost more, too!

The cost of trades in Pokemon GO depends on a few factors like friendship level and the type of Pokemon being traded. At best friends or lucky friends level, trading a regular Pokemon costs 100 Stardust, but be prepared to pay up to 1,000,000 Stardust if you're trading a Legendary or Shiny Pokemon with someone new!

Too much if you're trading a Shiny for the first time! Seriously, it's like the price of rent in Stardust.

I've traded with people from all friendship levels, and trust me, aiming for higher friendship levels saves a LOT of Stardust. Just remember, trading Legendaries and Shinies will always cost more.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
