In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, your first house upgrade from a tent to an actual house will cost you 98,000 Bells. After that, each upgrade costs more. The total to fully upgrade your house, adding rooms and making those rooms bigger, will end up being millions of Bells. Time to start saving up or hunting for those tarantulas at night!

Just a heads-up, it's not just about the initial cost, which is 98k Bells. You'll be getting into a series of loans with Tom Nook for each upgrade, so your dream home is a journey, not a one-time purchase. Each upgrade has its own price, with the final one costing a whopping 2.5 million Bells!

Think of it as a test of your financial planning skills in a game with cute animals. It's more about the journey and making those Bells than the actual cost. Plus, you get to design your dream island!

Doesn't cost real money, thankfully, just a lot of in-game effort! 98,000 Bells for starters.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
