All fishes are not created equal! Some are pocket change; others are basically a treasure chest. The rarer, the pricier!

The price of fish in Animal Crossing varies widely! For example, the common Horse Mackerel might only fetch you 150 bells, while a rare Coelacanth can net you a whopping 15,000 bells if you sell it to the Nook brothers. It really depends on the rarity and type of the fish. Always check the current market (or your Critterpedia) for the best info.

Honestly, just enjoy the fishing. Don't worry about the prices too much, it's more about the chill vibes and filling up your museum.

Fish prices in AC fluctuate a lot, but as a rule of thumb: common fish are not gonna make you rich. You want those rare catches like the Sturgeon or the Arowana, they can go for thousands. Pro tip: save your high-value fish for when CJ visits, he pays 1.5x the normal rate!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
