No one outside Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, really knows the exact cost, but we can make some educated guesses based on previous games. Developing GTA V reportedly cost around $265 million, making it one of the most expensive video games ever made at the time. Given inflation and the ambitious scale we're expecting from GTA 6, costs could easily surpass $300 million, if not more. These figures include marketing expenses, which typically double development costs.

A lot. More than you or I can probably imagine. Game development ain't cheap, folks, and when you're talking about a behemoth like GTA 6, you're looking at spending some serious cash.

Honestly, unless you're working in Rockstar's accounting department, it's all just speculation. But considering the scope of GTA games and their dedication to pushing boundaries, it wouldn't be surprising if GTA 6's budget is hitting record numbers.
