The price of the first Pokemon card really depends on a couple of factors like condition, rarity, and whether it's a first edition. For a first edition, base set Charizard in mint condition, you could be looking at tens of thousands of dollars. But more common first cards? Much, much less. Always check the current market!

Got lucky finding a first edition Pikachu at a garage sale for $5! Condition ain't perfect, but proves you don't always have to spend a fortune. It's all about the hunt and sometimes, lady luck smiles at you.

lol if you gotta ask, you probably can't afford it. Jokes aside, a first edition Charizard can go for a CRAZY amount, like buying a car crazy. But not all first cards will break the bank.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
