The cost of a Pokemon TCG deck can vary widely based on what you're looking for. Starter decks, which are great for beginners, usually run between $10 and $20. These are ready-to-play and contain everything you need to get started. If you're looking to build a competitive deck from scratch, costs can soar well over $100, depending on how many rare or powerful cards you're trying to include.

Hot take, but if you're just starting, don't splurge on expensive cards. Seriously, grab a starter deck and learn the ropes first. You can find them for like 15 bucks.

From personal experience, I've spent anywhere from $15 for a simple themed deck to over $200 on a competitive one. It really depends on what cards you need. Some rare cards are pricey but essential for a killer deck.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
