Depends on which one you've got. Some of the older gold star cards can go for a small fortune, especially in mint condition. But if it's just a modern gold card, it might not be retirement money but still cool to have.

The value of a gold Pokemon card can massively vary! It depends on the card's rarity, condition, and demand among collectors. Some gold cards are promo versions and could be worth a few bucks to the right person, but there are gold Star Pokemon cards that can fetch thousands. Always check recent sales for the specific card you're asking about to get the best idea.

Gold Pokemon cards are not all created equal! A common misconception is that any gold card will be worth a lot, but that's not always true. You gotta check out each card's market value individually.

Tons of factors at play, but don't expect every gold card to pay off your student loans. It's more about the thrill of collecting!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
