The value of a Magikarp Pokemon card can vary quite a bit based on its edition, condition, and rarity. For example, a basic Magikarp card from a recent set might only be worth a few cents to a couple dollars. However, a vintage, first edition, or a special holographic Magikarp could be worth significantly more, anywhere from $5 to over $50 in mint condition. Always check the specific version of the Magikarp card you have and look it up on collectors' sites or eBay for the most accurate valuation.

It totally depends on which Magikarp card you've caught! A regular one from a newer set? Probably not worth much, pocket change really. But if you've got a shiny, holographic vintage from the golden age of Pokemon cards tucked away, you might be sitting on a small fortune. Think more along the lines of 'enough to buy dinner at a nice place' rather than 'retire to the Bahamas' though.

Honestly? Not a lot. Magikarp is more of a novelty than a collector's item. Save your excitement for the Gyarados card.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
