The worth of Japanese Pokemon cards can vary a TON. Some factors that come into play include rarity, condition, and demand. For example, a rare, first edition card in mint condition can be worth thousands of dollars, while more common cards might only fetch a few bucks. It really depends on what you've got!

Honestly, just because it's Japanese doesn't mean it's automatically worth more. Some English cards are worth way more than their Japanese counterparts. It's all about what collectors are looking for and how many cards are out there.

I sold a Japanese holographic Charizard card last year for triple what an English one went for. So in my experience, yeah, the Japanese versions can be worth more! But again, it's all about that specific card and its condition.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
