Animal Crossing, especially New Horizons, absolutely crushed it in sales. We're talking over 30 million copies sold globally by the start of 2021. Given that it's priced around $60, do the math, and that's around $1.8 billion in revenue from game sales alone. That's not even counting merchandise, partnerships, and all the adorable Animal Crossing-themed goodies out there!
Honestly, the exact amount is hard to pin down because it keeps selling, but billions for sure. As a fan, I contributed to that number happily!
