Oh boy, trying to count all the Pokemon cards in the world is like trying to catch 'em all in the wild - a mighty task! But to give you an idea, since the Pokemon TCG came out in 1996, there have been thousands of different cards across various sets and special editions. With new sets released regularly, the number just keeps growing. It's estimated there are tens of thousands of unique cards, easily numbering in the billions if you count every single physical card printed.

Honestly, counting every Pokemon card out there would be a Herculean task. I've been collecting since I was a kid, and I've got thousands myself. Every time you think you've seen them all, a new expansion comes out. So, to answer your question, no one can give you an exact number, but it's safe to say billions, easily.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
