The Castle needs quite a bit of juice if you're planning to light it up like a Christmas tree and run all the fancy gadgets. Generally, you'll need at least 10 power to cover the basic needs like lighting and defense turrets. But hey, if you're planning to throw in more advanced stuff or want to make sure you never run out, aim for 20-30 power. More power equals more fun!

10 power is your starting point, mate. But truly, it all comes down to what you're powering. Got lots of lights and turrets? Pump those numbers up. Just the basics? 10 should cut it.

Honestly, just throw on a couple of generators and call it a day. I slapped on two medium generators, so that's 10 power, and it was enough for my needs. It's not like the settlers are throwing rave parties. Or are they?

20-30 power? Overkill much? 10 power works fine. It's the wasteland, not Times Square.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
