Just make a box that's 10x6 tiles, and your NPCs will be happy. It's easy and does the job. No need to overcomplicate it.

NPCs in Terraria need a proper house to spawn and live in. Each house must be at least 60 tiles in total area but not more than 750 tiles, including the walls, floor, and ceiling. So, when you're planning your village, just remember the goldilock zone: not too tiny, not too vast, just right for a cozy NPC abode!

Honestly, as long as it meets the minimum size (60 tiles), NPCs aren't picky. I once made a house that was just big enough and threw in a table and chair, and boom, new tenant!

60 tiles minimum space, but don鈥檛 trap your NPCs in a tiny space! Give them room to breathe. A nicely decorated, spacious house keeps them happy and productive. Plus, it looks awesome in your world.
