Steam itself? Barely a dent in your storage. But add a couple of games and suddenly you're playing Tetris with your hard drive space. Choose wisely!

Steam itself doesn't need much room鈥攅xpect it to take up about 1GB. But keep in mind, that's without any games. Once you start adding games to your library, the sky's the limit. Some games only need a few hundred MBs, while others, especially those high-end AAA titles, can require upwards of 80GB or more per game.

Honestly, not much! The Steam client is pretty lightweight, around 1GB or so. But, if you're a game hoarder like I am, you'll need to start thinking about investing in an external hard drive or some cloud storage. Games these days are huge, and they'll eat up all your space before you know it.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
