Solar eclipses in Terraria are pretty rare events, they have a 1 in 20 (or 5%) chance of happening each day once you've defeated at least one mechanical boss. So, if you're really looking for one, patience is key, or a Solar Tablet if you're in a hurry and have one lying around!

Actually, solar eclipses happen way too often when you're not ready for them. It feels like they know when you're least prepared and decide to show up just to mess with you.

Don't sit around waiting for a solar eclipse; make it happen! Craft a Solar Tablet by gathering fragments in the Lihzahrd Temple if you're impatient. Remember, only works in Hardmode.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
