Actually, it saves every 10 minutes. But tbh, always better to manually save before you quit, just in case. Never trust technology too much!
Every 10 mins, Terraria's got your back with autosaves. Just watch out for those surprise boss fights, they won't wait for an autosave lol.
10 minutes, which is pretty decent. Still, I always slap that save button like it owes me money before logging off. Old habits die hard.
