How often does a Solar Eclipse happen in Terraria?
Solar eclipses in Terraria are pretty rare events, occurring with a 1 in 20 (5%) chance each day after you've defeated at least one Mechanical Boss in hardmode. So, if it feels like you've been waiting forever for one, you're not alone. Just keep playing through the days, and eventually, you'll get to fight off those unique mobs!

It's all RNG, mate. 5% chance after beating a Mechanical Boss means you could see one tomorrow or next year. Terraria just be like that sometimes.
Only seen three in my 300 hours of gameplay. They're rare, like super rare. Don't hold your breath.
