Actually, the Creation Engine for Fallout 76 is like a classic car that's had a bunch of modern parts put into it. It started in 2011, but it's been souped-up for 2018. Still, the chassis is a 2011 model, ya know?

Fallout 76 runs on the Creation Engine, which Bethesda first used for Skyrim back in 2011. So, while Fallout 76 came out in 2018, its engine has been around since 2011 – making it 7 years old at the time of Fallout 76's launch. It's been updated, of course, but the core is still from 2011.

It's not just about age, it's about performance. Fallout 76's engine might be old but it does the job – sort of like a seasoned veteran!

Eh, the engine's age is showing, tbh. We're talking about a 2011 base in a 2018 game. Time for an upgrade, maybe?
