Warframe is definitely popular, but WoW is like the granddaddy of MMOs. WoW has had way longer to build its massive player base!
Warframe's community is strong and continually growing, especially with the regular updates. However, WoW still usually has higher total player counts and more recognition.
From personal experience, I think Warframe's fast-paced gameplay and deep customization attract a dedicated fan base. Still, WoW's impact on gaming is just enormous.
