How powerful is Shanks in One Piece?
Shanks is insanely powerful! Even without showing much, his mere presence commands respect from the strongest characters. He stopped the Marineford War with just a few words, and it’s hinted that his Haki is off the charts. Plus, he scared off a Sea King with just a look when he saved Luffy. We haven’t seen him go all-out yet, but it's clear he's a top-tier power in the One Piece world.

Honestly, we don't know the full extent yet, but considering he's an Emperor, it's fair to say VERY powerful.
Overrated. We've seen powerful characters, but until Shanks actually does something, I'll hold my judgment.
Shanks is a mystery box wrapped in an enigma. We haven't seen him fight seriously, but he's one of the Four Emperors. That alone puts him at a god-tier level. He clashed with Whitebeard and blocked Akainu's attack, which says a lot about his power. And let's not forget, he lost an arm to a Sea King and still remains a major power player. Shanks is not to be underestimated.
