How does pregnancy work in Fallout Shelter?
BivouacingFirm·7 months agoGetting a Dweller pregnant is pretty straightforward but remember, it takes two to tango! Stick a man and a woman in the living quarters, wait for the magic to happen, and bam, baby on the way. But don’t expect any storks. In a few hours, you'll have a new little vault Dweller running around, but they do need time to grow up before they can start working.

Pregnancy is Fallout Shelter’s way of ensuring your Vault keeps growing, but it’s not instant! It’s all about the long game, building up your next generation strategically.
In Fallout Shelter, making babies is a fun strategy to grow your vault's population! Just pair up a male and female Dweller in living quarters, and if they hit it off, you'll soon see hearts flying. After their chat, the female Dweller will sport a baby bump, signifying she's pregnant. However, pregnancy doesn’t slow down your Dwellers; pregnant women continue their tasks as usual. After a few hours, you'll welcome a new baby Dweller, who after a bit more time, grows into a contributing adult Dweller. Remember, babies inherit a mix of their parents' stats, so choose your pairs wisely for those next-gen super Dwellers!
