Ranked in Valorant is pretty straightforward but with a twist. First, you gotta play 10 unrated matches to unlock ranked play. Then, your performance in these initial matches decides your starting rank. The ranking system goes from Iron all the way up to Radiant, with several tiers in each rank. Your performance in each match, not just wins or losses, influences your rank. You can move up or down in the ranks based on how well you play, your kill/death ratio, and whether your team wins or loses. Plus, there's this thing called MMR (Match Making Rating) that's kinda behind the scenes making sure you play with people on your level.
