Honestly, it's a grind. Shiny legendaries have about a 5% chance during events. Outside of that, prepare to be very patient!

Shiny legendaries in Pokemon GO are like finding a unicorn in a haystack! Typically, the chance hovers around 5% during special events, but outside of those, it鈥檚 even rarer. Happy hunting!

They're not that rare if you go hard during events.

As someone who finally caught a shiny Articuno after 50 raids, trust me, it's rare but oh so worth the effort!

Shiny legendaries are super rare! Your best shot is during events with boosted shiny rates, usually around 1 in 20. Good luck!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
