In my experience, pulling an EX card feels like winning the mini-lotto. It's rare but not impossible. Managed to snag a few from booster packs myself and each time it felt like a mini-celebration. So keep those hopes up when you open a pack!

EX cards are rare, but not the rarest. They're like the silver medal of Pokemon card collecting. Nice to have and definitely something to brag about, but there's always that gold medal (the ultra rares) that's just a bit more elusive.

EX Pokemon cards are pretty special! They're less common than your regular cards, but not as rare as some of the ultra or secret rares out there. You'll find them more often in booster packs than those super rare ones, but they're still a happy surprise when you do. Think of them as like finding a $20 bill in a coat you haven't worn in a while – rare enough to be exciting, but not unheard of.

They're not that rare. I mean, if you buy enough packs, you're bound to get some. It's more about luck and less about rarity.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
