If you're looking to start over in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, simply go to the Switch's Home menu, open System Settings, scroll down to Data Management, and select 'Delete Save Data.' Find Animal Crossing from the list, and voila, you've got yourself a fresh start! Remember, this deletes everything, so be sure you really want to say goodbye to your island buddies!

Short answer: you really can't reset the game from within it like old times. You gotta delete the whole save file from the Switch settings. It's a bit drastic, but if you're sure, go for it!

Honestly, just make a new character if you're bored. Resetting erases all the hard work and memories. Not worth it, in my opinion.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
