I prefer my PS5 standing vertically because it saves space and looks sleek. But, as long as it's well-ventilated, horizontal works just as well!

Laying it flat is the best! It reduces the risk of it tipping over and getting damaged.

I've had mine horizontally on a shelf for months with no issues. I think it's just more stable that way.
