How strong is the Steam Deck?
The Steam Deck is pretty beastly for a handheld! It's got custom AMD APUs that are specifically designed for gaming performance and efficiency. Essentially, you're carrying around a compact PC in your hands. It can handle most games pretty well, including some of the more demanding ones, thanks to its hardware. Just don't expect it to run everything on ultra settings like a high-end gaming PC.

Pretty strong! I've been using mine since release, and it's handled everything I've thrown at it. AAA titles run smoothly with some settings adjustments. It's not a desktop replacement, but as a portable PC gaming device, it's top-notch.
Overhyped. Yes, it's portable and can run games. But comparing its strength to a real gaming PC? No way. It's good for what it is, just keep your expectations in check.
It's strong but not invincible. The Steam Deck is great for what it is - a portable gaming device. You can play a ton of games from your Steam library on the go, which is awesome. But if you're looking to replace your desktop gaming rig, this ain't it.
