How to tell if a Pokemon card is rare
ReroutingTopaz·7 months agoFrom personal experience, rarity symbols are your best friends. But don't forget to check the card number. If it's higher than the set number, you've got yourself a secret rare. Found a card like that in a pack once and nearly flipped my lid!

Easy peasy! Check the bottom right corner of your card for a symbol. A circle means it's common, a diamond indicates it's uncommon, and a star means it’s rare! Some ultra-rare cards have a star H or three stars, so keep an eye out for those too. Also, texture and holographics are a good giveaway – if it's shiny or has a weird texture, you might have struck gold!
