Unfortunately, Apex Legends doesn't have a built-in feature for 1v1 battles against your friends. However, you can kinda make it happen by creating a private match. Both of you join the same game and drop at a specific location on the map to duke it out. Just remember, you'll have to manually coordinate since the game doesn't support official 1v1 modes.

Hot take: Just play normally and see who racks up more kills. Apex is a team game, folks.

So, me and my buddy tried this. We got into a private match, agreed on weapons, and landed in the same spot. It's not perfect since you gotta avoid other players, but it was the closest we could get to a real 1v1 in Apex. Turned out pretty fun!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
