Playing Animal Crossing with 2 players is super chill! All you gotta do is grab a second controller. Then, on your Nintendo Switch, one player opens their game of Animal Crossing. When you're ready to join forces, the first player presses the ‘-’ button to open the settings and selects 'Call Resident'. Then, the second player just needs to press 'A' on their controller, and voila! You're both set to explore the island together. Remember, the second player can join in as a resident of the island, so make sure you have an extra house ready for your co-op buddy!

Honestly, just grab a second controller. Animal Crossing isn't rocket science. Press a couple of buttons and boom, you're collecting bugs together.

Animal Crossing multiplayer is a bit of a letdown, tbh. Second player can't do much. But hey, if you're into just wandering around together, it's fine.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
