Getting to a 3-star rating in Animal Crossing isn't as hard as it seems! First up, you wanna have a variety of flowers and trees all over your island - diversity is key! Make sure to add decorations; you can craft them or buy them. Furniture sets outside add a lot to the rating. Don't forget to build bridges and inclines, those help a lot. Also, have at least 8-10 villagers living on your island. All this adds up to impress Isabelle enough to boost your rating!

You gotta focus on variety, not just quantity. I filled my island with tons of flowers and trees but mixed them up a lot. Also, placed furniture that matched different themes around my island. Ended up getting that 3-star rating pretty quick!
Honestly, just spam decorations everywhere. Got a lamp? Put it outside. Got a bear? Put it outside. The more stuff you have out, the better.
Too many items laying around can actually hurt your rating, so keep your island tidy. Just focus on placing items thoughtfully and creating nice areas.
