Accepting a backup request in The Division 2 is as easy as pie! Just open your map, find the SHD icon with a radio signal, and select 'Respond to Call' to join someone's session and help them out.

You gotta hit the social tab, find the request under 'Backup Requests,' and accept it. Simple as that.
