To access custom designs in Animal Crossing, first, you gotta unlock the Able Sisters' shop by buying or selling enough stuff to Mabel when she visits your island's plaza. Once the shop is up and running, use the terminal inside to browse, download, and upload custom designs using creator codes or design codes. Also, don鈥檛 forget to check out the Custom Designs app on your NookPhone, which lets you create your own designs and QR codes!

Pro tip: Don't sleep on the NookLink app in the real-world Nintendo Switch Online app. It's a gem for scanning QR codes of custom designs from older AC games into New Horizons. Absolute game-changer for those of us who've been hoarding cool designs since New Leaf.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
