Activating a Steam gift card is super easy! Just open your Steam client and click on your profile name in the top right corner. Then select 'Account Details' from the dropdown menu. Look for the '+ Add funds to your Steam Wallet' link and click on it. On the next page, you'll see an option to 'Redeem a Steam Wallet Code'. Enter your gift card code there, and voilà, you've added funds to your Steam Wallet!

I always mess this up and try to use the 'Add a Game' option LOL. But yeah, just add it directly to your Steam Wallet. Saves a lot of hassle.
