To activate the blue switch in Super Mario 64, you need to enter the Tower of the Wing Cap. Look for a light shining down in the castle's main hall and then look up towards it to be teleported there.
First, get 10 stars, then stand on the sun rug in the main hall and look up into the light. You鈥檒l enter a special stage with the blue switch.
Just go to the castle foyer and look up at the sun mural to access the stage with the blue switch.
